What moves the price on this route

Which side of each city you live on

The highway leaves Bangalore to the east along Old Madras Road, so loading in KR Puram or Whitefield gets the truck moving quickly, while Electronic City or Rajajinagar means crossing the city first. Chennai is entered from the west, which makes Porur a short final leg and Siruseri on OMR a long one. Those extra truck hours find their way into quotes.

Lift slots and waiting time

Plenty of complexes in both cities allow moving only in set hours. If the Chennai society won't let you unload until the next morning, a dedicated truck and its driver wait overnight, and some movers charge for that.
