Most Gurugram moves are tied to a job. Someone's joining a company in Cyber City or Udyog Vihar, or leaving one on Golf Course Road, and the joining date is fixed. Local shifts, say Palam Vihar to Sohna Road, are normally done in a day.
What does your society need before moving day?
Nearly every gated society on Golf Course Extension Road, Sohna Road and Dwarka Expressway, and in the New Gurugram sectors, has a routine. Start on it about a week out.
- Fill in the move-out or move-in form at the maintenance office.
- Clear dues, collect the no-dues slip and ask whether a refundable deposit is needed.
- Book the service lift and confirm the allowed moving hours.
- Send us the gate-pass format so we can add the truck number and crew names.
Keep a copy of the approved gate pass on your phone. The guard on the early shift doesn't always have the list.
Builder floors in the DLF Phases, Sushant Lok, South City and Palam Vihar are different. There's often no lift and parking is tight, so a big bed or wardrobe usually has to be opened up and brought down the stairs piece by piece.
Traffic, rain and summer heat
NH-48 around Rajiv Chowk and IFFCO Chowk, and the stretch near Hero Honda Chowk, can jam badly at office hours, so our trucks aim to get through before or after the rush. May and June are very hot, and we start loading early as much for the crew's sake as for your electronics. In the monsoon a single heavy shower can leave underpasses and low roads waterlogged for hours, which is why we keep a little slack in the schedule.
Companies in Cyber City, Udyog Vihar and on Golf Course Road tend to shift in phases, or all at once on a Saturday and Sunday (there's more on office relocation). We also move machinery from IMT Manesar. Household packing is done by our own trained staff. Crockery and screens get 4-layer packing, sofas and beds are covered with Fabric Sheets, and a full flat's worth of goods can be locked inside a Trucking Cube. A car rides on a car carrier, and a scooter or bike goes on our Bike Stand.
Routes from Gurugram
Jaipur is about 240 km and Chandigarh about 280 km, and both usually take 1–2 days. Lucknow is about 520 km and takes 2–3 days. Mumbai and Pune are each about 1,300 km and take 5–7 days, and Bengaluru, at about 2,000 km, takes 6–9 days.
Within the NCR we regularly shift people to and from Delhi, Faridabad, Manesar and Sohna, as well as nearby towns such as Rewari, Dharuhera and Bhiwadi. A move to Noida or Ghaziabad is local too, but it crosses Delhi, so the timing depends on when Delhi lets goods vehicles in.

How is moving cost calculated in Gurugram?
It's priced after our Gurugram team has seen the flat, and that survey costs nothing. Tower height and the wait for the service lift matter here, as do the number of cartons, the distance and whether wardrobes have to be opened up. Car transport and storage are optional add-ons. The final figure comes to you as a written quote.
Do Gurugram societies need permission before a move?
Most of them do. Expect a move-in or move-out form, a gate pass and a service-lift booking, and some societies also ask for a no-dues letter or a refundable deposit. Share your society's rules during the survey. We send the vehicle and crew details in advance and keep the work within the allowed hours.
How long does shifting from Gurugram to Bengaluru take?
Usually 6–9 days. Bengaluru is about 2,000 km by road. How quickly it arrives comes down to the size of the load, weather along the way and the entry rules at your new Bengaluru apartment. Your move manager gives you the dispatch date and a delivery window, and picks up the phone while the truck is travelling.

Can you move my car from Gurugram to another city?
Yes. We load cars onto a car carrier and fix two-wheelers on our Bike Stand, which holds both tyres so nothing tips over on the way. Book the vehicle with your household shift or on its own. Carry the RC, insurance and pollution certificate, and if you're relocating to another state permanently, ask the Haryana RTO about the NOC first.
