How your move works
Four steps between your first call and the last carton going inside, and the same move manager looks after every one of them.

Free survey
Someone from our team comes over, notes what's being moved and looks at the stairs, lift and truck parking at both addresses. You pay nothing for this visit.

Written quote
The price arrives in writing before you commit. Packing, transport and add-ons such as car transport or storage each get their own line.

Packing & loading
Our own crew wraps every item in four layers, marks each carton with its room and loads the truck heaviest pieces first.

Delivery & unpacking
At the new address the crew unloads, unpacks and places things room by room. You tick goods off the inventory before they leave.

Packers and movers: frequently asked questions
Straight answers to the questions customers ask us most.
What decides the cost of shifting with packers and movers?
Mainly the volume of your goods and the distance. Packing material, the size of vehicle, floor and lift access at both addresses, and extras like car or bike transport, storage and transit insurance also affect the price. We do a free pre-move survey first and then give you a written quote upfront, so you know the charges before booking.
How early should I book packers and movers?
Two to four weeks before your moving date works for most moves. Book earlier if you're moving at month-end, on a weekend, during school holidays or around festivals, because that's when demand goes up. Booking early gives enough time for the pre-move survey, a written quote and planning around the dates you prefer.
Why do I need insurance if everything is packed professionally?
Because packing can't prevent every risk. Professional packing protects against knocks and handling, but it can't stop a road accident or a natural disaster on the way. Transit insurance, which we offer as an option, covers you financially if something like that happens. Ask your move manager to explain the cover before you confirm.
What items should I not give to the movers?
Keep cash, jewellery, important documents, medicines and laptops with you. Don't pack flammable or hazardous things like filled gas cylinders, petrol, kerosene, paints, chemicals or firecrackers, and leave out perishable food. During the free pre-move survey, our field officer will help you work out what can and can't be moved.
Can you transport my car and bike to another city?
Yes. Cars go on specialised car carriers and bikes are secured on our shock-resistant Bike Stand. They can travel along with your household goods or on their own. Keep copies of the RC and insurance ready, along with a transfer or joining letter if you're moving for work.
Do you offer storage for household goods?
Yes, we offer short-term and long-term warehousing for household and commercial goods. Everything is inspected on arrival, kept in palletised boxes and labelled so it's easy to find. It helps when your new home isn't ready, while the house is being renovated, or when you move abroad and want to keep your things in India.
Are the pre-move survey and quotation free?
Yes, both are free. A field officer visits to assess your goods, note fragile and bulky items and check access at your home or office. After that you get a written quote upfront that sets out the charges, so you can decide with all the facts in front of you before booking.
