Short moves between Raipur and Nava Raipur

Ever since the secretariat and a lot of government offices moved to Nava Raipur Atal Nagar, families have been shifting between the old city and the new capital area. It's a short drive, but we don't treat it as a small job. The packing is the same as for a long move, one crew loads and unloads, and you get an item list at the start. For an average flat it's one full day: packing in the morning, loading by lunch and unloading before dark. A big house may need a separate packing day.

The thing to watch in Nava Raipur is the handover. A new government quarter or a freshly built flat may not have power, water or a working lift on the day you get the keys. If that's the case, don't rush in. We can hold your goods in storage and bring them over once the place is actually livable.

Loading in the old city and the newer colonies

Gol Bazar, Sadar Bazar and the roads around Jaistambh Chowk stay jammed from mid-morning, and there's hardly any room to park a truck. For shops and homes there we start early, sometimes with a smaller vehicle making a few trips to a truck waiting on a wider road. Shankar Nagar, Devendra Nagar, Avanti Vihar and the colonies off VIP Road are easier, though apartment blocks may still ask for a lift booking and a gate pass. A move within the city is normally finished in a single day.

The house itself matters as much as the road. A bungalow with a long driveway is a quick load, while a second-floor flat in an old building with a narrow stair is not. The survey is where we spot that difference, and it's also the time to point out things that need extra care, like a puja mandir, a glass-top dining table or an old wooden almirah that shouldn't be taken apart.

Can you shift a unit in Urla or Siltara?

Yes, and these jobs start with a site visit. Urla, Siltara and Bhanpuri are full of steel, rolling and fabrication units, where machines are heavy and awkwardly shaped. We list every machine, spare and bit of stock, agree the loading order with your technicians (they handle disconnection), and pack each piece for its weight. Heat, rain and the routes out of Raipur

April to early June is harsh, often above 45°C. Tape loosens, plastic warps and batteries suffer. We load in the morning, pack in 4 layers and keep goods shaded inside the closed Trucking Cube. Carry medicines, candles and cosmetics in your own bag rather than a carton. From late June to September the problem flips to rain, so every carton gets a waterproof outer layer.

Nagpur is about 290 km and usually takes 1–2 days. Visakhapatnam is about 580 km, partly through hilly, forested country, and takes 2–3 days; our Visakhapatnam page covers that end. Hyderabad (about 760 km), Kolkata (about 830 km), Mumbai (about 1060 km) and Delhi (about 1130 km) are all 3–5 day moves.
